Place a Book on Hold
Do you want to be the “next in line” to borrow a book that is checked out? Can’t make it to the library right away but want to ensure a book will be held for you? You may place holds on books you would like to borrow!
How do I place a hold?
Hold requests can be made by telephone, email or in person at the Library during regular library hours. Before requesting a hold, please check the Library Catalogue to be sure that you know the call number, author, and title.
Place hold online by creating an account PIN. Login to the Library Catalogue to check due dates, place holds or renew items online!
Email us at circulation@fanshawec.ca and be sure to include both your student number and the complete call number of items to be placed on hold.
Call us at (519) 452-4236
