In-person & Synchronous Instruction
In-person and synchronous library class sessions offer real-time instruction that is designed to encourage active student involvement in the learning process. These sessions can take place in the classroom or virtually through platforms such as Zoom or Bongo, allowing for a flexible environment that fosters participation, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement.
Asynchronous Instruction
Asynchronous instruction provides a flexible, self-paced learning experience that allows students to access content and complete sessions according to their own schedules. Asynchronous sessions focus on self-directed learning and can be delivered through pre-recorded videos or FOL modules.
This option is only available for courses that are delivered asynchronously.
Custom Course Guides
Custom course guides offer tailored access to discipline-specific library resources that align directly with course objectives, assignments, and assigned readings. These guides support the development of research and critical thinking skills and are designed to enhance student learning by streamlining access to high-quality academic content and learning materials.
Resources available through a custom course guide can include subject-relevant databases, eBooks, journal articles, and educational or instructional videos.
Custom course guides can be embedded into your FOL course page for easy student access.
